Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System in Fremont, NE is seeking a casual hospital cleaner at Methodist Fremont Health Hospital. Work schedule 7am to 3:30pm as needed, with possible start as late as 7pm for flexibility.

This is an 'as needed' casual position to meet business needs. Responsibilities include daily cleaning and disinfecting patient and non-patient areas, following standard procedures; maintain 95% quality; report defects; follow Infection Control and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum age 16 years.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily cleaning/disinfecting of all patient and non-patient areas of the Hospital.
• Complete dismissal cleaning of patient/resident rooms following standard procedures and maintain a clean aseptic environment.
• Maintain a 95% quality cleaning level on assigned areas during inspections.
• Complete daily cleaning of all areas according to departmental guidelines and keep supply area orderly.
• Follow proper use of chemicals and infection control guidelines; report defects promptly.
