Responsibilities

• Clean patient/resident rooms and other areas following standard cleaning procedures to maintain a clean, aseptic environment.
• Perform daily cleaning of all areas according to departmental guidelines to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Identify spots, spills and trash; report issues promptly and maintain an orderly supply area.
• Perform additional cleaning duties as time permits (e.g., wall washing, fixtures, etc.).
• Use chemicals safely and identify them by physical characteristics.
• Report defects in the facility to the appropriate department in a timely manner.
• Maintain supplies to ensure adequate stock; orders placed by end of shift on Mondays and Thursdays.
