Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a 4-year electrical apprenticeship is expected.
• Substantial shop experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of electrical codes and blueprints is essential.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain hospital electrical power supply and systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and wiring.
• Inspect lighting, circuits, and equipment; repair as needed.
• Maintain emergency power supplies and transfer switches per standards.
• Read blueprints and schematics to guide work.
