Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in health, public health, environmental science, or related field.
• Eight (8) or more years of experience in applying health and safety standards in inspections or related field (options 1/2).
• Four (4) or more years of experience in applying health and safety standards in inspections or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop inspection or investigation plans by gathering information on past inspections, complaints, laws, rules, and input for planning.
• Lead on-site and off-site inspections and investigations within Washington state.
• Collect information by interviewing staff, patients, and other stakeholders.
• Review documents and records to evaluate compliance with required standards.
• Observe and evaluate facilities and operations for safety hazards and compliance.
• Prepare clear, defensible deficiency reports in accordance with guidelines.
