Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician Distribution Specialist to join our Central Pharmacy team in LaGrange, KY. This role focuses on medication fulfillment, distribution, and inventory management under pharmacist supervision.

Responsibilities include handling replenishment, warehouse distribution, medication intake, and supporting automation systems. Prior hospital central pharmacy experience and Kentucky Board of Pharmacy registration upon hire are preferred.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalency required.
Not currently registered? Kentucky Board of Pharmacy registration required upon hire.
National Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (PTCB) required.
Hospital or central pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Fill inventory replenishment orders for hospitals, clinics and BH affiliates.
Handle medication receiving, repackaging, distribution and order fulfillment under supervision.
Assist in maintenance of pharmacy automation systems and ensure accuracy of counts.
Support pharmacist in securing medications and auditing inventory.
Train new staff and improve workflow to reduce outdates and waste.
