San Juan Regional Medical Center is seeking a Dish Room Operator to join our patient meal service team. You will follow sanitation guidelines to ensure safe food for patients, visitors, and staff, while supporting daily kitchen operations.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and adherence to health standards in a fast-paced hospital setting. As part of the dietary team, you will help maintain cleanliness, handle ware washing, and assist with meal delivery to nursing units.

Formación

• Must have Food Handler card issued by accredited provider by first day worked.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Ability to work individually and in a team.
• Self-directed.
• Ability to prioritize.
• New Mexico Driver’s License.
• Speak and read English.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates proper hand hygiene and uses gloves appropriately.
• Maintains clean and sanitary work environment; cleans and sanitizes after each period of use.
• Operates ware washing machine and inspects dishware for cleanliness and defects.
• Records temperatures for ware washing and other equipment as assigned.
• Uses three compartment sink and ensures sanitation and air drying of wares.
• Floors are swept and scrubbed; spills cleaned promptly; wet floor signage posted.
• Delivers patient meals to nursing units and SJRRH as assigned.
• Participates in department education and adheres to service standards.
