Job summary

Dayton Children's is seeking a Dietetic Assistant for the Main Campus, part-time with 24 hours per week. The role focuses on meals that meet diet orders and avoid harmful ingredients, acting as a communications hub among Room Service, dietitians, and nurses.

You will take and enter orders, instruct staff, and support routine dietary handling. GED/HS diploma preferred with 0–3 years of experience. Shift times include early morning to early afternoon and alternating weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• GED/High School diploma preferred.
• 0-3 years of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure each child’s meal adheres to their diet order and avoids harmful ingredients.
• Take and enter orders and provide instructions to Room Service staff in the Supervisor's absence.
• Communicate with dietitians and nurses regarding special dietary needs.
