Job summary

ClearSky Health is seeking a Dietary Manager to lead the Food Service Department, ensuring timely meal preparation, service, and quality. You will work closely with the Dietitian and interdisciplinary team to support patient nutrition and safety.

Responsibilities include managing inventory, enforcing policies, and ensuring compliance with safety and infection prevention standards. A current Dietary Management certification is required or preferred in some states.

Qualifications

• Two years’ direct dietary experience in a hospital or related medical facility.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Current state certification in Dietary Management is required (KS, TX) or preferred in other states.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and patient family to monitor nutrition status.
• Establish and follow food service production and service procedures to ensure timely meals.
• Direct the Dietary Services Department and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Manage inventory, purchasing of food, supplies and equipment to meet department needs.
• Monitor quality and infection prevention related to patient nutrition care.
• Inspect dietary area for compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Assist during staffing emergencies and inclement weather as needed.
• Complete required trainings and support overall organizational effectiveness.
