HCHcares in New Castle, IN is seeking a dedicated cook to support patient, staff, and visitor meals. You will prepare, season, and cook nutritious dishes in a fast-paced hospital setting, while following strict dietary, sanitation, and nutrition guidelines.

Applicants should understand food safety regulations, work well in a team, and be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds. High school diploma and ServSafe preferred.

Formación

• Understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to work in a team, manage time efficiently, follow recipes and communicate well.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Experience in hospital, skilled nursing, or related medical facility preferred.
• ServSafe Certification preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, season, and cook nutritious meals for patients, staff, and visitors following dietary and sanitation guidelines.
• Measure and mix ingredients using kitchen utensils and equipment according to recipes.
• Maintain and file menus per policies and procedures.
• Keep a clean workspace, sanitize equipment, and follow food storage and temperature controls.
• Adhere to local, state, federal regulations and other agency standards.
