Henry Community Health is seeking a cook for its hospital kitchen to prepare nutritious meals for patients, staff, and visitors. You will follow strict dietary, nutritional, and sanitation guidelines while measuring ingredients and adhering to recipes.

Responsibilities include maintaining menus, keeping the work area clean, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Preference given to those with hospital cooking experience and ServSafe certification.

Formación

• Understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to work in a team, manage time efficiently, follow recipes and communicate well.
• Ability to stand for long periods, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Preferred: high-volume hospital kitchen experience; ServSafe Certification; HS diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and cook nutritious meals for patients, staff, and visitors following dietary, nutritional, and sanitation guidelines.
• Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes using kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Maintain and file menus per policies and procedures.
• Keep a clean work area, sanitize equipment, and follow health regulations for storage and temperature control.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal regulatory standards and codes.
