Job summary

Palmdale Regional Medical Center, part of Universal Health Services (UHS), seeks a Nutrition Aide to provide age-appropriate food and nutritional care under the supervision of a dietitian. The role supports meal planning and dietary needs for diverse patient ages in an acute care setting.

Qualifications

• At least two years food service experience in an acute care facility preferred.
• DSS certification or Diet Tech certification preferred.
• Maintains certification in Food Service Sanitation by the Department of Health and/or ServSafe Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide food and nutritional care appropriate for all ages including infant to geriatric as prescribed by physicians and under the direct supervision of the dietitian.
• Support dietary plan execution and meal preparation in an acute care setting.
• Assist with dietary workflow and patient-specific meal modifications as required.
