Forest View Hospital, located seven miles southeast of downtown Grand Rapids, MI, seeks a Full Time Dietary Aide to support meal service for patients and staff. Under supervision, you will prepare salads and cold foods, serve meals, and maintain clean, sanitary areas in kitchen, dining, and serving areas.

Duties include accurate counts, diet preparation, and adherence to safety procedures. The role requires a HS diploma or GED, some food prep experience preferred, and the ability to follow

Qualifikationen

• Must have HS Diploma or GED.
• Previous hospital/behavioral health food service experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass extensive MI background check and fingerprint clearance.
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions to operate food service equipment and follow direction.

Aufgaben

• Serve food on patient tray line and in cafeteria to meet dietary needs of patients and staff.
• Maintain sanitation standards and follow Department of Public Health regulations to ensure food quality.
• Prepare diets and food requisitions, obtain accurate patient, staff, and guest meal counts.
• Follow dietary and hospital safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Treat patients and staff courteously to better serve their dietary needs.
• Meet hospital attendance policy.
