Job summary

Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in meal preparation and service for patients, staff, and visitors. Reporting to the Dietary Supervisor, you'll work alongside the dietitian and kitchen team to support nutritious, safe meals.

Shifts are 5:30am–2:00pm and 11:00am–7:00pm, with an 80-hour biweekly schedule and weekend rotation. You will adhere to hospital policies, maintain sanitation, and participate in mandatory annual education.

Qualifications

• Assisting in preparing meals for patients, staff and visitors.
• Ability to work with dietitian and kitchen staff to ensure safe, nutritious meals.
• Adherence to hospital policies, procedures and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking foods for patients, employees and visitors.
• Delivering meals to designated areas and patients.
• Keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean and sanitary at all times.
• Rotate weekends and work shifts 5:30am–2:00pm and 11:00am–7:00pm.
