Responsibilities

• Pass menus to patients by name and room number.
• Portion food for tray line.
• Stock tray line stations with food supplies.
• Serve tray line station at mealtime.
• Prepare and deliver patient between-meal nourishments.
• Retrieve trays from patient care area.
• Deliver late trays to patients.
• Reset tray line for next meal.
• Scrapes dishes and loads dishes and trays into dishwasher.
• Assist in loading trays onto meal trucks.
• Works to improve total quality of the department.
