Job summary

Central Florida Behavioral Hospital is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for patients and staff. You will follow menus and production sheets, ensuring proper food temperatures and presentation on the serving line and in storage areas.

The role includes serving patients and helping with dishwashing and unit cleanliness. Ideal candidates have a High school diploma, Food Handler's Certification, and at least 1 year of behavioral health facility experience.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Food Handler's Certification required (can be obtained upon hire)
• 1 year experience in a behavioral health facility highly preferred
• Demonstrates a willingness to cooperate with others
• Reliable attendance is expected and hospital orientation will be required

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve regular and special diets to patients and staff
• Follow production sheets and menus; ensure proper substitutions when needed
• Ensure food presentation and temperatures are appropriate on serving lines and storage areas
• Serve patients and assist with meal clean-up and sanitation
