• Laundry support: pickup and delivery of laundry items.
• Supply organization: maintain closets, label containers, stock infection control supplies.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position supports the hospital by completing daily housekeeping tasks, caring for equipment, and keeping assigned areas clean and orderly. It focuses on creating a comfortable, sanitary environment and assisting with duties that support overall facility operations. As a Custodial Worker 1, you will perform the following duties:

• Cleaning Tasks: Perform surface cleaning, remove trash, wash floors, clean fixtures, and complete other housekeeping duties
• Outdoor Care: Sweep steps and ramps, clean entrance areas, and remove snow and ice as needed
• Equipment Maintenance: Clean equipment surfaces, inspect cords and connections, and check for visible defects
• Laundry Support: Assist with the pickup and delivery of laundry items throughout the facility
• Supply Organization: Maintain housekeeping closets, label containers properly, and ensure infection control supplies are stocked

Work Schedule and Additional Information

• Full‑time employment, 37.5 hours per week
• Work hours are 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Sat day - Friday, with a 30‑minute lunch from 2:00 AM to 2:30 AM. You will work every other weekend and have rotating days off.
• Your schedule may change based on operational needs.
