Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is hiring a Custodial Worker 1 at Warren State Hospital to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, staff and visitors. You will perform linen management and ensure safety compliance, with a focus on detail and reliability in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning patient living areas, restrooms, offices and other hospital spaces.
• Disinfect surfaces, remove trash, manage hazardous waste and spills.
• Wash walls, ceilings, windows, fixtures and floors; use custodial equipment.
• Operate vacuum cleaners, scrubbers, pressure washers and carpet extractors.
• Load soiled linens, distribute clean linens, and track area supplies.
• Follow safety procedures and chemical handling guidelines.
