Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks a Courier in Glenview, IL for full-time night shifts. You will transport specimens, reports, and supplies between hospitals, satellite locations, and external sites while operating hospital-owned vehicles safely and maintaining accurate trip data.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid Illinois Class D license with 3+ years driving. Six months to one year of courier experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or four years of equivalent work experience.
• Must possess a valid Illinois Class “D” driver’s license and have held it for at least three years.
• Six months to one year of courier driving experience preferred.
• Ability to operate hospital-owned vehicles safely and follow state/local/federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Transports specimens, reports and supplies between hospitals, satellite operations, and external sites.
• Operates hospital-owned vehicles safely, adhering to traffic regulations.
• Performs pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections for hazards.
• Maintains a clean, refueled vehicle at all times and notifies management of issues.
• Documents trip data and communicates with dispatcher and Laboratory staff.
• Provides courier service to NorthShore facilities and other vendors as assigned.
• Ensures ID requirements for passengers and accurate handoffs with signatures.
• Supports special assignments and projects as needed.
