Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Courier in Glenview, IL for a full-time role (40 hours) with evening shift and rotating weekends/holidays. You will transport specimens, reports, and supplies between hospitals and satellite sites using hospital vehicles, while maintaining safety, logs and documentation.

You will operate in a fast-paced healthcare environment, ensuring timely, accurate deliveries and strict adherence to driving regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months to one year of route delivering or courier driving experience preferred.
• Valid Illinois Class D driver’s license; driving record verified.
• Excellent reading, writing and communication skills; able to follow instructions and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Transports specimens, reports and supplies between hospitals, satellite operations and offices.
• Operates hospital vehicles safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections and maintains vehicle cleanliness.
• Notifies management of any mechanical or safety issues immediately.
• Uses handheld device to scan items and document delivery details.
• Communicates with dispatchers to confirm receipt and completion of assignments.
• Ensures passengers have ID and transports staff and supplies between sites as required.
• Maintains driving records and trip tickets; reports discrepancies promptly.
