York General is seeking a Hospital Cook - Full Time to prepare and serve meals for patients, visitors, and staff within Dietary Services. You’ll contribute to comforting, nourishing meals while maintaining safety and cleanliness in a patient‑centered environment.

Ideal candidates will be 18+, follow verbal and written directions, and work well with a team. A High School or GED is required; daily checks and safety compliance are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to follow verbal and written directions, observe safety rules.
• A collaborative spirit—being a team player is a must!
• Read and follow standardized recipes.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and serve food for patients, cafeteria guests, and special events.
• Jot down simple daily checks (temps, deliveries, sanitizer levels) to keep the kitchen safe and fresh.
• Practice top‑notch food handling and safety to ensure a clean, organized kitchen ready to serve great meals.
