Riverside Rehabilitation Hospital in Yorktown, VA, a joint venture with Select Medical, is seeking a full-time Cook. Compensation ranges from $20.09 to $24.00 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for career growth.

You will prepare meals for patients, staff, and visitors, while upholding food safety and quality standards in a healthcare setting. We value dependability and team players who can follow instructions, maintain sanitation, and contribute to a compassionate patient

Qualifications

Minimum: One (1) year cooking experience.
Preferred: High School diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: Culinary Arts degree.
Preferred: Completion of state or local food safety training course.
Preferred: Healthcare experience.

Responsabilités

Accepting and understanding both verbal and written instructions.
Providing high quality food preparation and service.
Cleaning and maintaining equipment to meet department standards.
Maintaining high standards of quality food production and portion control.
Demonstrating a willingness to help with work that needs to be done.
Taking initiative to not only identify problems, but to bring about a positive and sustainable solution.
