Job summary

INTEGRIS Health in Oklahoma City is seeking a dedicated Cook for a full-time position in its hospital kitchen. You will prepare food for patients, staff, and events, assist in menu planning, portion control, and daily meal counts, while adhering to safety and sanitation standards.

The role requires reading, writing in English, basic math, and at least 1 year of food service experience. Experience with the Federal School Lunch Program is a plus for Children’s Place and IMH contexts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write English and know basic math.
• 1 year previous food service experience as a cook or in a Food Prep 1 position preferred.
• Experience with the Federal School Lunch Program preferred (for Children’s Place and IMH only) and must communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and portions food for patients, employees and special functions.
• Performs various baking tasks.
• Responsible for cleaning and proper use of equipment and reports repairs as needed; maintains sanitation standards.
• Follows food preparation and storage guidelines per Oklahoma State Health Department.
• Documents meals and snacks served as required for related programs.
