Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring for a full-time COOK position in Prattville, Alabama. This role supports patient meals with quality, safety, and teamwork in a hospital setting.

Shifts run 10:00 am to 5:00 pm with details provided upon interview. You will prepare meals, follow recipes and HACCP standards, and contribute to a clean, organized kitchen and patient-focused service.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking, stocking, and recipe experience is required.
• Full time availability; 10:00 am to 5:00 pm schedule.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food items according to recipes and schedules.
• Serve meals and prepare for delivery with proper portions and temperatures.
• Maintain cleanliness and safe food-handling practices.
• Assist in production planning, record keeping, and reporting.
• Assist in ordering and receiving food and supplies.
• Follow HACCP standards and maintain temperature control.
• Report maintenance or safety issues to supervisor.
• Maintain good relationships with coworkers and managers.
• Attend in-service and safety meetings.
• Adhere to company policies and gloves/oven-mitt safety rules.
