Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a cook to prepare, season and cook meals for patient service, the Medical Center Cafeteria, and special catered events. You will work from scratch using recipes, applying basic ingredients and some convenience items in a safe and sanitary manner.

Ideal candidates have previous kitchen experience, are proficient with various cooking techniques, and can follow dietary specifications for regular and therapeutic diets while maintaining accuracy and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in main kitchen/cafeteria.
• Ability to follow recipes and specifications for regular and therapeutic diets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities
