Job summary

Endeavor Health, a fully integrated healthcare system, is seeking a Cook at Edward Hospital in Naperville. The successful candidate will prepare menu items for patients and the cafeteria while adhering to sanitation and food handling standards.

The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with hours from 12:00 to 20:30 and rotating weekends and holidays. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED or at least two years of institutional cooking experience; ANSI-certified Food Handler training

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or two years of cooking experience in an institutional setting.
• Food Handler Training Certificate Program (ANSI Accredited) within 30 days of start date.
• ServSafe Manager Certificate (ANSI) preferred or required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• The cook prepares specified menu items for patients, cafeteria, catered services and ensures adherence to sanitation, safety and food handling procedures.
