Qualifications

• Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification required by first day (Utah/Idaho only).
• English reading and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Apply safe food handling techniques in all applications.
• Understand workflow, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of modified diets and preparation techniques (preferred).
• Experience with commercial cooking equipment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food, serve customers, and perform duties as assigned.
• Follow recipes and instructions for food preparation.
• Possibly prepare bulk items, large-scale production, or catered meals.
• Maintain an organized, sanitary working environment.
• Manage production quantities with proper rotation of product.
• Interact with customers in catering, retail, or patient care settings.
• Deliver patient meals, cashier, stock, or operate dishwashing equipment as needed.
