Job summary

Hudson Hospital's Nutrition Services team in Hudson, WI is seeking a Cook to prepare, cook, and serve nutritious meals to patients, visitors and staff. You will follow established recipes, maintain kitchen sanitation, and provide excellent customer service.

The role is 0.8 FTE (32 hours per week) with a shift schedule from 5:30am to 7:30pm, Monday–Friday, with an every-other-weekend requirement and varying shifts based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Requires strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a diverse team.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions in English.
• Able to stand/walk up to 8 hours per shift and safely handle food/equipment.
• Able to adjust recipes and portions to meet production needs.
• Professional appearance and commitment to excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and serve meals according to recipes and standards.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation compliance.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and work areas; manage portions and presentation.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and team members.
