Job summary

Hudson Hospital's Nutrition Services team in Hudson, WI is seeking a Cook to prepare, cook, and serve nutritious meals to patients, visitors and staff. You will follow established recipes, maintain kitchen sanitation, and provide excellent customer service.

The role is 0.8 FTE (32 hours per week) with a shift schedule from 5:30am to 7:30pm, Monday–Friday, with an every-other-weekend requirement and varying shifts based on business needs.

Hudson Hospital is seeking a Cook to join our Nutrition Services team. In this role, you will prepare, cook, and serve attractive, nutritious, and high-quality meals to patients, visitors and team members. The ideal candidate is committed to food safety, customer service, and delivering exceptional customer experience. The cook position is responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, and serve meals according to established recipes and production standards.
• Ensure food is prepared safely and in compliance with sanitation and food safety guidelines.
• Practice proper portion control and presentation standards.
• Adjust recipes as needed to meet production requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment, workstations, and food preparation areas.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

FTE: 0.8; 32 hours per week

Work Schedule: Shift schedule between 530am-730pm; Shifts Monday-Friday will vary based on business needs; Required to work every other weekend.
