Job summary

Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA is seeking a Cook to join our inpatient culinary team. You will prepare hot meals for patient trays, cafeteria, and catering services, following production schedules and quality standards.

In the absence of the director or chef, you will supervise kitchen staff and ensure all duties comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Prior hospital experience and knowledge of therapeutic diets are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Hospital food preparation experience preferred.
• Knowledge of modified and therapeutic diets preferred.
• Food Workers’ certificate required within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot food items for patient trayline, cafeteria, doctor's lounge and catering functions.
• In absence of director or chef, supervise kitchen staff and act as lead person.
• Ensure all duties are completed in compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
