Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions. Basic math.
• Minimum of six months of applicable experience preferred. On-the-job training will be provided.
• Serv Safe may be required depending on location. Additional endorsements may be required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) may be required depending upon location requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and provides the highest quality and safest food possible.
• Follows standardized recipes and guidelines for cooks to prepare, store and use food.
• Maintains labeling and storage of food, equipment, and machinery.
• Performs washing and cleaning duties to insure sanitation.
• Operates equipment such as mixers, slicers, kettles, ovens, food grinders, and more.
