Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years of related work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment and food-handling procedures is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and instructions unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, season, cook and present a variety of menu items per standards.
• Follow recipes and product directions for soups, meats, vegetables and desserts.
• Estimate production needs and maintain records for requisitions and supplies.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and uphold food safety and sanitation standards.
• Be able to walk or stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
