Sodexo at HOLY SPIRIT MEDICAL CENTER in Camp Hill, PA is seeking a part-time Cook to prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold items for meals and events. The role requires attention to safety, sanitation, and quality in a fast-paced kitchen.

You will follow recipes and instructions, support teamwork, and maintain a clean workstation. The position offers flexible shifts, with pay at $20 per hour, and opportunities to grow through Sodexo’s training and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good working knowledge of food preparation.
• Requires familiarity of kitchen equipment.
• Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, cook, and present hot and cold items per standards.
• Follow recipes and product directions for all menu items.
• Taste, estimate production needs, and plan supplies accordingly.
• Significant walking or mobility in the kitchen.
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
