UNC Health Nash is seeking a hospital cook to prepare sandwiches, grill items, and patient meals at Nash Hospitals. You will set up the food line, maintain cleanliness, and operate the cash register for cafeteria patrons, contributing to patient and community well-being.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, a Food Handlers Certificate within 6 months of hire, and at least one year of food service experience. This on-site role involves 40 hours per week with rotating shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Cooks food, including pastries desserts, and soups, according to recipes.
• Ensures quality of foods and maintains proper temperatures.
• Operates and cleans production utensils and equipment; keeps cooking area sanitary.
• Prepares complete meals and special events foods; presents food appealingly.
• Prepares food for regular, modified, and calculated diets using weighing and measuring techniques.
