Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a full-time cook for patient, staff, and guest meals in a high-volume hospital kitchen. You will review menus and production sheets to determine quantities and prepare meats, vegetables, and soups to high quality, while meeting deadlines.

You must maintain a clean, sanitary work area, adhere to health and safety regulations, and demonstrate excellent customer service to colleagues, patients and visitors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates Degree in Culinary Arts preferred.
• Minimum of two years as a cook in a high-volume restaurant.
• Serve-Safe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews menus and production sheets to determine quantities.
• Prepares meats, vegetables, starches, and soups to high quality.
• Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly cooking area.
• Adheres to regulatory agency requirements and safety standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned and supports operations.
