Job summary

Garden Grove Hospital Medical Center, part of Prime Healthcare, is looking for a Per Diem Food Service Worker to join our patient-focused culinary team in Southern California. You will help prepare quality foods in a sanitary environment, following safety policies and therapeutic diet guidelines when applicable.

Two years of food service experience are preferred; County-specific Food Handlers certification is required upon hire and kept current.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years experience in food service with commercial, institutional cooking experience preferred.
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets desired.

Pay Transparency

Garden Grove Hospital Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $26.30 to $26.30. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
