Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a full-time paging operator for Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center - Communications. The role offers 40 hours per week with morning and evening shifts, including weekends.

The candidate must be reliable and able to work under pressure, with clear verbal communication. Responsibilities include monitoring emergency panels, paging hospital staff, logging events in the AmCom system, and maintaining accurate shift schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years office or switchboard experience.
• Ability to speak English fluently and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency panel signals and alert required personnel per policy.
• Page hospital personnel; manage meet-me pages and overhead paging; exchange pagers; utilize IRM paging system.
• Log and report trouble in the AmCom System; contact supervisor for service calls.
• Provide documentation on logs, reports, and projects.
• Maintain personnel work schedules and cover absences, arrive on schedule.
