Job summary

Emanate Health is seeking a dedicated Collections Specialist to perform payer follow-ups, appeals, and denials management in a hospital setting. You will handle billing, EOB reviews, and correspondence while contributing to timely reimbursements.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, about three years of billing experience, and preferred bilingual Spanish skills. This is a full-time, day-shift position in Glendora, CA.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School diploma or equivalent; work experience can substitute.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Three years' billing experience preferred; hospital setting and managed care exposure a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform account follow up from payer sources including commercial plans, HMOs, PPOs, EPOs, and others; manage denials and EOB reviews.
• Handle billing, appeals, adjustments, and correspondence; support complex high-priority projects as needed by management.
