Job summary

Northeast Rehabilitation Hospital Network is hiring a Cold Production Worker to prepare cold foods for patient trays and assist in tray-line activities. You will assemble trays according to menus and dietary requirements, then help deliver carts to patient areas.

The role requires food service experience or training, knowledge of food safety, and strong communication in a fast-paced environment. Flexible hours including weekends and holidays are expected.

Qualifications

• One year of food service experience or six months formal training in dessert, salad or garnishing.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cold foods for patient trays according to recipes.
• Assemble patient trays based on menu selections and dietary needs.
• Assist in delivering carts and trays to patients and designated areas.
