Job summary

Northeast Rehabilitation Hospital Network is hiring a Cold Production Worker to prepare cold foods for patient trays and assist in tray-line activities. You will assemble trays according to menus and dietary requirements, then help deliver carts to patient areas.

The role requires food service experience or training, knowledge of food safety, and strong communication in a fast-paced environment. Flexible hours including weekends and holidays are expected.

Qualifications

The Cold Production Worker is responsible for performing assigned duties in accordance with NRHN policies, procedures, and standards of care while supporting the organization’s mission, values, and commitment to quality outcomes.

The Cold Production Worker is responsible for preparing cold foods for the patient tray line based on forecasted quantities and established recipes. This role involves participating in tray line activities, assembling patient trays according to menu selections and dietary requirements, and assisting in the delivery of carts and trays to patients and their designated areas. This role requires adherence to safety, sanitation, and regulatory guidelines while fostering effective communication and teamwork within the department.
