Job summary

Asante in Grants Pass, OR is seeking a CNA for the Central Transportation Department to expedite patient transfers with care, safety, and efficiency. You will collaborate with CNAs and RNs, ensuring patients are transported comfortably while supporting care teams throughout the hospital.

Responsibilities include documenting patient and family responses, maintaining clear communication with staff, and upholding Asante’s Vision and Values.

Qualifications

• Must hold CNA certification by the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) at start.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) at start.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient transport and coordinate with CNAs and RNs to ensure safety and comfort.
• Promote patient safety and satisfaction while documenting responses and interventions.
• Communicate clearly with staff, patients, and families and support care teams.
• Adhere to Asante’s Vision and Values in daily workflow.
• Support critical workflows and participate in the code team when needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation per department standards.
