Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect patient care as directed by the nursing plan of care.
• Performs hourly patient rounding for all assigned patients.
• Responds promptly to patient/family concerns and provides interventions when possible.
• Administers scope of practice treatments and procedures per physician orders and nursing policy.
• Implements infection control measures including isolation, hand hygiene, and PPE.
• Maintains thorough documentation and quality metrics.
• Processes admissions for hospital services.
• Follows HIPAA guidelines and promotes patient safety.
• Assists with answering incoming calls.
