Job summary

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (PharmD) required.
• 1–2 years residency training and/or at least two years of clinical pharmacy work experience.
• Texas State Board of Pharmacy license in good standing is required; Board Certification (BPS) preferred.
• Ability to set priorities, communicate effectively, work independently, and participate on interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmacotherapy support to medical staff to optimize medication selection, dosing and monitoring.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and antimicrobial stewardship initiatives to ensure appropriate therapy.
