Job summary

Spaulding Hospital-Cambridge, Inc. is seeking an environmental services associate to maintain a clean, safe hospital environment on site in Cambridge. You will follow infection control guidelines, operate cleaning equipment, and support departments across the Medical Center.

Required is a High School Diploma or equivalent with 0-1 year of related experience preferred; knowledge of chemicals and cleaning tools is essential. The role offers full-time hours, competitive hourly pay, and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• 0-1 year experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and how to apply chemicals safely.
• Working knowledge of cleaning tools like vacuum cleaners and floor buffers.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning duties in alignment with schedules and infection control guidelines.
• Completes waste stream removal.
• Clean and service assigned areas per established procedures.
• Move furniture, equipment, and supplies in and around the Medical Center departments.
• Operates floor machines and buffers.
• Participates in at least eight unit/department meetings annually.
• Maintain assigned patient and non-patient areas in a clean, safe and sanitary condition.
