Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months cleaning experience preferred, preferably in a healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of housekeeping cleaning practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and services assigned areas of the facility in a timely manner to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for patients, customers, and staff.
• Maintains and operates cleaning equipment safely and reports any needed repairs.
• Mixes and uses cleaning products according to manufacturer directions and department procedures.
• Sorts and stocks linen and supplies to ensure adequate par levels at assigned facilities.
• Stocks linen supply to patient care areas and responds to linen requests.
• Performs daily cleaning of linen storage and distribution areas, including dusting and mopping floors.
• Reports problems or incomplete tasks to the team leader or supervisor.
• Completes assignments and documents work for proper resolution.
• Adheres to Safety and Infection Control guidelines at all times.
• Participates in mandatory in-services and continuing education as directed.
• Understands and operationalizes the mission, vision, and policies.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
