Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior hospital, skilled nursing facility, or hotel cleaning experience preferred.
• Must read, speak, and understand English; good verbal and written communication.
• Basic arithmetic skills required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, sanitary, safe environment adhering to Infection Control policies.
• Clean occupied patient rooms and rooms between patients following procedures.
• Dispose of waste and soiled linen per departmental procedures; use approved cleaning chemicals.
• Respond to emergencies and report hazards; inspect own work for quality.
