The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Housekeeping Aid within the Environmental Management Services Division at a VA Medical Center to perform both janitorial and custodial duties across patient and non-patient areas.

You will use hand washing and powered cleaning equipment under supervision, and work the schedule 7:00am to 3:30pm, Sat–Wed, to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safe hospital environments for Veterans.

Formación

• Experience or training in janitorial or custodial work is preferred.
• Ability to operate light and heavy cleaning equipment safely.

Responsabilidades

• Perform floor maintenance, wall washing, and cleaning of doors, frames, bases, and edges.
• Clean rest rooms, showers, benches, and fixtures; replenish supplies.
• Move and arrange furniture and beds as needed to complete tasks.
• Empties trash, transports waste and recyclables, and restocks supplies.
• Work in patient and non-patient care areas under supervision or in a team.
