Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 4-6 years power plant or steam plant experience.
• Minimum of five years in a hospital setting with increasing responsibility.
• Engineering Fundamentals (mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems).
• Building Operations (maintenance, troubleshooting).
• Safety & Compliance (OSHA, fire safety).
• Project Management (budgeting, scheduling).
• Technical Tools (CMMS, AutoCAD, BAS).
• Leadership & Communication (team supervision, stakeholder interaction).
• Fit Test - OHS
• Annual Assessment - OHS

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of the Weiler mechanical plant and hospital infrastructure.
• Supervise approximately 13 FTEs including power plant personnel and engineers.
• Plan and supervise installation of modifications to hospital infrastructure.
• Develop preventative maintenance programs for the plant and off-site properties.
• Ensure regulatory life safety programs and compliance.
• Maintain staff training on operation of plant equipment.
• Maintain inventory and documentation for incoming/outgoing materials.
• Manage staff levels to meet plant and engineering needs.
