Qualifications

• Four units of certified Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) through an accredited CPE center is required.
• One year clinical residency through an ACPE accredited CPE center is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Addresses the spiritual, emotional and relational health needs of patients, their loved ones, and the hospital staff.
• Exhibits empathy, interpersonal skills and analytical ability to assess spiritual needs and to provide assistance in complex moral, spiritual and ethical matters.

Education
