Qualifications

• Certification as a Board-Certified Chaplain or eligible, with a master’s level degree and required clinical pastoral education units.
• Experience in health or mental health settings preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and documentation in electronic records.
• Ability to work independently within department policies and supervise students if needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs chaplain duties and conducts spiritual assessments for patients, families, and staff.
• Participate in Spiritual Care Program delivery per professional standards.
• Respond promptly to requests for Spiritual Care services.
• Collaborate interdisciplinary rounds and committees as needed.
• Provide worship opportunities and support rituals and sacraments.
• Document in EMR using Outcome Oriented Chaplaincy model; maintain reports.
