Qualifications

• Master's degree in Theology, Pastoral Care/Counseling, Divinity, or an equivalent endorsed degree (with letter of approval).
• Clinical Pastoral Education: 4 units (1600 hours) in ACPE-accredited setting.
• Board Certified Chaplain APC within 24 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct spiritual, religious, and existential care to patients, families, and staff.
• Advocate for patient rights in spiritual, cultural, and psychosocial values affecting care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and rounds; engage in related projects and committees.
• Educate patients and families about spiritual resources, ethics, and organ donation.
• Provide rituals, worship, and sacramental support as needed.
• Serve as a spiritual care resource to staff and foster workplace spirituality.
